Overview
Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS) was one of the first companies in the world to develop demodulator LSIs and silicon tuner LSIs compliant to the latest broadcasting systems around the world. We provide solutions including tuner modules that can suit a wide range of applications.
By adopting SSS products, developers and manufacturers of TVs, recorders and in-car TV systems can reduce the number of TV receiving system components and improve the efficiency of product development through global hardware and software designs while ensuring superior tuner performance. Our product's low power consumption and standby modes also make it possible to achieve both high environmental and superior reception performance.

Compliance with global broadcasting systems, including Japan new 4K/8K satellite and U.S. ATSC3.0
We are also among the first companies in the world to comply with the current digital TV broadcasting standards (ISDB-T/C/S, J. 83 A/B/C, J. 382, DVB-T/T2/C/C2/S/S2, SBTVD-T,ATSC1.0) as well as the new 4K/8K satellite broadcasting ISDB-S3, and the next generation broadcasting standards, ATSC3 in the United States.
Industry's highest*1 reception performance
Our tuners apply high-frequency technology to achieve signal receiving sensitivity, distortion resistance, and interference resistance which are among the highest in the industry. Our demodulator LSIs use error correction circuits and transmission path estimation algorithms unique to SSS, achieving anti-noise performance and multi-path resistance that are also at industry-leading levels.
Furthermore, we have developed original 4 diversity synthesis algorithms for our automotive tuner LSIs, making stable television viewing possible in severe signal conditions such as while traveling in urban areas.

Diverse product lineup
We support a wide range of applications and product types. For TV/BD recorders, we offer single tuners for terrestrial reception, triple tuners for terrestrial/satellite/cable, and tuner/demodulator integrated LSIs for STB/OTT which require smaller sizes. We also have 2 diversity and 4 diversity tuners for automotive and mobile applications.
