As the market expands, requirements about the emitter, the light source, are diversifying. To meet those requirements, Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS) develops a versatile laser driver for ToF sensing performance in various use cases.

・ PD current monitor detects irregular/unintended emission
・ Detects irregular values of ITO conductive film resistance
・ Detects abnormal voltage in output terminals
・ Detects overheating, overvoltage and insufficient voltage
Complies with safety standards for automotive applications
We meet AEC-Q100 Grade 2, the standards for reliability testing of automotive electronic devices. We are also planning to develop our next-generation products that meet ASIL-B requirements of ISO 26262, the international standards for safety of road vehicles, by pursuing the development processes in compliance with these standards.
